The sugar cane of their own plantations is used for the production. The Gran Reserva Añejo XO is a blend of different rums aged between 9 and a maximum of 12 years. The maturation takes place in American white oak barrels. An important component of this rum is a 50 year old rum that ages in the Solera Reserva process.
